In the automotive scene full of custom projects and bespoke vehicle programs, several aftermarket specialists are now starting to think differently. Enter Mulgari Automotive, the British tuner that offers a unique customization package known as “Signature Vehicles” in which prospective clients were given access via exclusive invite.
Mulgari’s visual enhancement package for the Signature Vehicle range gives its customers a unique new experience of owning their brand new purchase. The program focuses on the client’s personal specifications including interior, performance and cosmetic upgrades that are only available exclusively from the company.
Its latest “Project Twelve” concept or the Mclaren MP4-12C challenges various norms related to customization as it took them eight months to finally complete the whole new set-up. The tuning kit features revised side skirts, new front bumpers, rear bumpers and new carbon fiber diffuser built to their special standards. Likewise, Mulgari has modified the sports car’s 3.8-liter biturbo V8 for it to develop an additional 40 horsepower than the standard 600hp. For them to achieve this, the team tweaked the McLaren MP4-12C’s onboard electronics as well as the ventilation system.
To pay more attention to aesthetics, the auto tuning specialist from Berkshire used Vossen wheels from Miami while the exhaust system was supplied by Fabspeed USA. Inside, the McLaren MP4-12C Project Twelve has been enhanced with Mulgari logos across the cabin to suit its new racing inspired carbon fiber bucket seats.
What’s more interesting is that the MP4-12C isn’t the only production model from the British tuning specialist’s Signature collection. Its first ever project, the Mulgari F56 SV is a custom F56 Mini Cooper S. The exclusive program is offered throughout Mini’s entire vehicle lineup that you can order straight from Mulgari Automotive.
In a statement, Benjamin Sunners, owner of Mulgari Automotive said that the Signature Program unlocks the vehicle’s ‘full performance and visual potential.” It is for this same reason that customers line up at their shop to avail of fitting options that are not usually available from the original equipment manufacturer.
Like the McLaren MP4-12C or the Project Twelve, the Mulgari F56 SV has undergone a bespoke engine management program to help enhance its performance by at least twenty three percent. The new F56 Mini Cooper S was modified extensively by removing its chrome exterior while adding one of the six colors to the front grille, brake calipers, belt line and mirrors. The F56 SV was also 30mm lower than the standard MINI Cooper S to add more visual appeal outside and highlight the vehicle’s true performance.
