He noted that the new A4 offers more standard features than its predecessor. He added that an Audi A4 powered by the all-new 2.0TFSI engine with quattro all-wheel-drive system could deliver better levels of acceleration and fuel economy than its key rivals in this segment.

Strong equipped that customers have been calling him since early this about the new A4, especially after the car was shown at the auto show circuit and images started to appear. Likewise, consumer interest in the model surged as fuel prices rose. He noted that the new 2.0 TFSI is a great engine that – along with the A4’s beautiful design and incredible vehicle technology – makes the model the perfect car for the time.

Powering the new Audi A4 sedan is either the all-new 2.0 TFSI 4-cylinder engine or the 3.2 FSI V6 mill. When the 2.0 TFSI engine is equipped, the A4 sedan could be specified with either the front-wheel drive system or Audi's quattro all-wheel-drive system. Only available for the A4 Sedan, the 3.2 FSI V6 engine is matched only with the quattro all-wheel-drive system and a six-speed Tiptronic transmission. The Audi A4 Avant, meanwhile, is powered by the 2.0 TFSI engine matched by the quattro all-wheel-drive system.

Its fuel economy rating is pegged at 21 miles per gallon city and 27 mpg highway. When compared to the all-wheel-drive versions, this engine allows the A4 to sprint quicker from zero to 60 mph than the key German and Asian rivals in the segment.

The new A4 is part of Audi of America’s full line of German-engineered luxury vehicles. This generation (eighth) was unveiled to the global public at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September 2007 and to North American consumers at the North American International Auto Show in January 2008. Interestingly, the A4 accounted for nearly 50 percent of all Audi vehicles sold in the US in 2007.
