The tuning specialists at Project Kahn have just revealed the new kit for the Audi 2011 Q7 model. The SUV has been subjected to aggressive customization, giving it several strong features that are as comparable to what’s being offered on the market.
The Kahn Q7 Widebody Aerodynamic Styling Package features Wide Wheel Arches, Front Wings with Vents, Front Spats, Rear Bumper, Exhaust Trims and Rear Roof Wing. The package is a good fit for the factory panel lines, while also resulting to a sportier feel.
The feature that’s likely to get a lot of attention are the aesthetic large-dynamiter wheels. On the inside of the vehicle, we see exclusive features such as Black Perforated Nappa Leather on all 7 seats with Maranello Red Seat Stripes, White Speedo and Red Rev Counter, Door Entry Sill Plates, and Machined Aluminum Foot Pedals. Having the complete Kahn branded entertainment package, which features two headrest mounted 7″ TFT screens, will give passengers a “touch of luxury.”
It also has a DVD player, wireless infrared headphones, and a remote control. These accessories can be added to the new Q7 as standalone pieces. Aside from revising the look of the 2011 Q7 with a light facelift, it also replaced the 280-hp, 3.6-liter V-6 and the 350-hp, 4.2-liter V-8 with variations of the supercharged TFSI 3.0-liter V-6 found in the A6, S4, and S5.
The design of the Audi Q7 stands for power and presence; it is the visual expression of this large SUV's character. Its flowing surfaces and a coupé-like roofline as well as low window strip and tensely curved panel surfaces provide the new Audi Q7 with a visual character that conveys its power and road presence.
Moreover, these design features are accentuated by sporty yet elegant outlines. With dimensions of 5.09 meters (16.70 ft) in length, 1.98 meters (6.50 ft) in width, 1.74 meters (5.71 ft) in height and 3 meters (9.84 ft) of wheelbase, the new Audi Q7 offers more than adequate interior room.
Its front end is marked by large single-frame grille with chromed surround as well as headlamps. Customers may avail of the optional xenon plus headlamps with LED daytime driving lights and LED flashers. They may also avail of an optional adaptive light version with integrated turning and cornering lights as well as low, full and highway beams.
Moreover, the SUV comes with aluminum hood and front fenders. The rear, meanwhile, features standard LEDs and an aluminum tailgate that wraps around the rear roof posts in an S-shaped outline. These add-on parts can be specified in the same or contrasting color as the body.
The Audi Q7 always features a high-gloss body although customers could avail of the optional black styling package. Also available is an aluminum-look exterior package that includes an all-round chrome trim strip on the bumpers as well as door capping strips and door handles.
These lend the Audi Q7 even greater sophistication. Customers could also opt for the available S line exterior package that boosts the SUV's sporty looks. Interestingly, the Audi Q7 offers around 27 seat configurations. Customers may have their Audi Q7 specified as a five-, six- or seven-seat version.
The seven-seat Q7 features single rear seats and a third row of seats that could seat occupants up to 1.60 meters (5.25 ft ) tall. Likewise, the seat backs in the second row can be folded down to give way to a flat cargo floor, thereby increasing the Q7’s cargo capacity from 775 liters (27.37 cubic ft) to 2,035 liters (71.87 cubic ft).
