Techart, the well-known tuning company specialized in tuning Porsche vehicles, previewed today its individualization program for the brand new Macan. Already available are the new Techart light-alloy wheels and several interior refinement possibilities.
Techart currently offers four-wheel designs available in 20- and 21-inch wheels offered in standard colour variations, but for those who want more the wheels can be customized individually in order to suit the vehicle in question.
According to Techart the following wheel models are available: Formula light allow wheel (21-inch) available in silver, gloss black or custom colour; Formula II light-alloy wheel (22-inch) available in silver, gloss black as well as custom colour; Formula III forged wheel (22-inch) available in silver, bi-colour, burnished or custom colour; Formula IV light-alloy wheel (22-inch) available in bi-colour, gloss black or custom colour from October 2014.
In addition, Techart will offer chassis and suspension options such as the Air Suspension Module Sport but also the Sport Spring kit that allows customers to make individual settings of chassis and suspension.
The Techart Aerodynamic Program includes new exterior options such as front spoiler, roof spoiler, rear diffuser, wheel arch extensions and side skirts. The Techart Power Kits and Sport Exhaust Systems for Porsche Macan’s 6-cylinder engines are available too.
The Techart engine management system Techtronic can be activated by pushing the Sport button located at the centre console and promises significant increase of performances and driving dynamics.
This system does not affect vehicle diagnostics or servicing, or the electronic engine protection features. Interior can be refined too and Techart offers the Interior Styling Packages selectively painted in carbon fiber or exotic woods.
By request, the customer can customize seats, dashboard, centre consoles or door panels. Furthermore, the tuning company offers the 3-spoke Multifunctional Sport Steering Wheel, Pddle Shifters, Aluminum Sport Pedals, Aluminum Foot Rest, Floor Mats, Loadspace Floor Mat and illuminated Door Entry Guards. Techart promised that it will offer more information on its indivualization program for the new Porsche Macan models from August 2014.
The stunning, strong front of the Macan is a distinct design component. The typical Porsche large air intakes highlight the performance class the brand's automobiles normally belong to. In the Macan Turbo, style elements called C-blades fitted into the air intakes on either side of the car emphasise the athletic look and give a refined aerodynamic reaction.
The wraparound hood makes for a striking style detail, encasing the headlamps and reaching down to the wheel arches. The imposing bonnet size with its precise lines going to the vehicle’s front provide the Macan with a strong and broad look, while the continuous bonnet surface presents a fresh front. The Macan's road focus is especially apparent when seen from the front.
The profile, with its sporty sloped roof outline, produces a crisp profile and accentuates the vehicle’s vibrant nature, while the style outlines extend to the vehicle’s rear to accentuate the wide, sculptured wings.
The window graphics – every lateral glass surface’s edge - and the D-pillar’s shape are design outlines that pay homage to the 911’s design.
Another design feature of the profile, and another way to customise, is the side blades at the front and rear doors’ bottoms – vibrantly shaped inserts available in various materials. The side blade design reminds one of the 918 Spyder’s lower door seams, as does the front door’s entry guard. Along with the refined door handles, this allows the doors to appear slenderer and the sides seem especially more athletic and aerodynamic.
