The vehicle you see in the photos is based on the Porsche Macan Turbo and comes equipped with a 3.6-liter V6 biturbo engine that produces 394 hp (294 kW).
There are no words regarding any engine upgrades, which means the vehicle will be able to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 4.8 seconds (4.6 seconds with Sport Chrono Package), while top speed is limited at 266 km/h or 165.2 mph.
As part of its distinctive design, the new Porsche Macan features an assertive front end marked by large air intakes, which are typical Porsche elements that raise the performance levels of its offerings. In the Macan Turbo, these air intakes feature stylistic elements dubbed as C-blades on the right and left extremes, helping highlight the vehicle’s sporty appearance while delivering a sophisticated aerodynamic response.
Meanwhile, the new Porsche Macan also comes with an impressive detailed wraparound bonnet that encloses the headlights while extending down to its wheel arches. Along with precise lines on the front end of the Macan, this massive bonnet makes the vehicle appear broad and dynamic, while its seamless surface delivers a clean fascia.
Meanwhile, the sporty sloping roof line of the new Porsche Macan results to a sharp profile while emphasizing the vehicle’s dynamic character. On the other hand, the broad, sculpted wings of the Macan are highlighted by the so-called design lines flowing to the rear end. These design lines, along with the window graphics and the shape of the D-pillar, pay tribute to the sporty design of the 911.
Furthermore, the flanks of the new Porsche Macan are marked by new sideblades at the bottom of its front and rear doors. These sideblades are dynamically formed inserts that could be optionally specified in different materials. Their design, as well as that of the front door entry guard, evokes the lower door seams on the 918 Spyder. Along with the sophisticated door handles, the sideblades could make the doors seem narrower and the sides sportier and more streamlined.
