Vorsteiner BMW M4 GTRS Special Edition detailed in new photos

Vorsteiner brought at the 2014 SEMA Show the limited edition GTRS4, their custom BMW M4 Coupe which celebrated company’s 10th anniversary. As expected, the new body kit is made out of carbon composite and received some positive feedback at the SEMA Show.

If photos with the new vehicles were limited, Vorsteiner decided to release more and show the vehicle’s magnificent angles.

As you can see, the BMW M4 Coupe received wider fenders and according to Vorsteiner, the front fenders have a total span of 4 inches, while the rear quarter panels are 7-inches wider.

The fenders hide the three-piece 20-inch Forged wheels wrapped in Pirelli tires.

According to Vorsteiner, the Special Edition GTRS4 includes a carbon fiber front bumper with integrated front splitter, carbon fiber front fenders with ventilation, carbon fiber aero side blade elements, carbon fiber rear fenders, carbon fiber rear bumper with integrated air diffuser, new 90 mm quad exhaust tip finishers and Vorsteiner embroidered colored floor and trunk mat set, Vorsteiner chrome trunk badging and 30-inch GTRS4 Forged 3-piece wheels in Gloss Brushed Shadow.

For those who don’t know, the standard model is powered 3.0-liter high-revving six-cylinder in-line petrol engine with M TwinPower Turbo technology that generates 431 hp and 550 Nm (406 lb-ft) of torque.

The engine is able to push the vehicle from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 4.1 seconds, while top speed is limited to 155 mph or 250 km/h and at 280 km/h or 174 mph with the M Driver’s Package.

Thanks to ESS Tuning’s E-Tronic, the engine develops 660 hp. Still, we don’t know how fast is the new vehicle.

The styling of the all-new BMW M3 Sedan and M4 Coupe illustrates an attractive design, excellent performance ability, and remarkable handling traits of these two new variations. The top-quality performance of the BMW M3 Sedan and M4 Coupe must be apparent from the first look. Truly, the design of the exterior for the new M3 and M4 creates an impactful look that lifts BMW’s M design ethos to another height of expression, emphasised by a focused character, emotive appeal, and vibrant verve.

The front: BMW M’s powerfully expressive face

From the front, BMW’s M3 Sedan and M4 Coupe have a prominent stance with their forceful contours and a powerfully defined solidity, lending them an extremely expressive fascia. Typical design components remove any doubt that these cars are the work of BMW M. There is the modern interpretation of the dual headlight configuration (available in LED technology), for example, as well as the distinct dual-bar kidney grille with grille bars painted black, reflecting the characteristic design of BMW M double-spoked wheels.

They boast the M logo, and the forcefully designed apron in front with its three large openings that bring cool air to the high-performing engine and brakes. Another hallmark M design feature to be seen is the distinct bonnet power dome that hints at the impending brawniness of the M TwinPower Turbo engine and creates room for the intercooler. And the attractive exterior with their twin-stalk mounts also demand further attention, with their design emphasizing the smoothness of the all-new BMW M3 Sedan and M4 Coupe.

The flanks: low-slung silhouette and dynamic lines.

The sides of both vehicles illustrate the vibrant expression produced by their front ends. The signature BMW dimensions (a lengthy bonnet, elongated wheelbase, recessed glasshouse, and short overhangs in front) get further emphasis from classic M design components. The brawny wheel arches and attractive surfaces clearly underscore the simmering potential of the BMW M3 and M4.
