Vorsteiner Nero announced the introduction of the Aventador-V LP-740 Edition for the Lamborghini Aventador. According to the guys from Vorsteiner, this was the most challenging product line they have ever taken in terms of design and engineering.
As you can see from the photos, the Aventador-V LP-740 Edition comes with a new carbon fiber front lip spoiler, carbon fiber side sills, a rear wing made from carbon as well and a new rear air diffuser with integrated central exhaust system.
Moreover, the air inlets of the car also received the carbon fiber treatment. This is one of the best tuning kits we’ve seen for the Lamborghini Aventador and it better be, as Vorsteiner scratched their heads approximately 11.5 months to build it.
They used a 3D scanner laser head with blue light technology, in order to be sure everything fits and was then run through digital wind tunnel simulator tests to determine air patterns and flow dynamics.
Under the hood, there is a 6.5-liter V12 engine rated at 700 hp (515 kW) and 690 Nm (509 lb-ft) of torque. The standard version hits 100 km/h (62 mph) in 2.9 seconds and has a top speed of 350 km/h (217 mph).

For this package, Lamborghini utilized a pioneering monocoque using carbon-fiber. With this material, it allows for excellent lightweight engineering combined with safety and stiffness that is on the highest of levels. Equipped to this excellent model is a 12-cylinder engine offering 6.5 liters of displacement. This engine is capable of delivering 700 hp (515 kW), allowing for supreme high-revving pleasure mixed in with a low-end torque. Acceleration from standstill to 62 mph (0 to 100 km/h) is possible within 2.9 seconds having a maximum speed at 217 mph (350 km/h).
While the figures are indeed exceptional, these do not completely show the extreme performance offered by the Aventador LP700-4. Even with the power better by 8% compared to the previous model, both fuel consumption and CO2 emissions are lower by 20%.
In addition, the Aventador LP700-4 has 3,472 lbs. (1,575 kg) of dry weight, a figure considered as rather low for its segment. Weight-to-power ratio is 4.96 lb/hp (2.25 kg/hp). Lamborghini said that delivery of the Aventador LP700-4 to the first customers is slated to begin during the late summer 2011.
