WrapStyle unveils Audi RS6 Avant Joker wrapped in Blue Chrome

Article by Christian A., on May 1, 2014

The Audi RS6 Avant is that type of sports car that doesn’t need any tuning for both the interior and the exterior but that didn’t stop WrapStyle Premium car styling company to do its thing on the German vehicle. As a result, WrapStyle unveiled the Audi RS6 Joker wrapped in Blue Chrome. One thing is for sure now: wherever you go, you will definitely be noticed thanks to the new Blue Chrome wrapping. On the hood, WrapStyle also added two silver lines that follow the design.

Under the hood, we find the same 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine that generates 560 hp and a maximum torque of 700 Nm (516 lb-ft) available between 1,750 and 5,500 rpm.

With these numbers, the RS6 Avant zooms from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 3.9 seconds, while top speed is electronically limited at 155 mph or 250 km/h.

Still, the RS6 Avant is available with the optional Dynamic Package that increases the top speed to 280 km/h or 174 mph. The Dynamic Plus Package increases the top speed even more to 305 km/h or 189.52 mph.

Despite these performances, the Audi RS6 Avant needs only 9.8 liters of fuel for 100 km (24 US mpg), thanks to the eight-speed tiptronic transmission, an innovative thermal management system and the stop-start system.

The RS6 Avant comes as standard with four internally vented brake discs (390 mm on the front). As an option, Audi offers the carbon ceramic brake discs, which have a diameter of 420 mm.

The A6 models have been designed to reveal sporty elegance and precision. These can be seen in the sporty tight surfaces, emphasized horizontals, and the sharp lines. Audi brand made sure to hone this carefully as part of the redesign. Features that underwent changes include the air inlets, headlights, and single-frame grille on the front. Then there are the side sills and on the rear section, the tailpipes and the rear lights.

As an option, Audi will be offering the headlights to be fitted with LED technology. Offered as well is the Matrix LED technology. These are then combined with the obviously dynamic turn signals. Because of the way the intelligent composite construction concept was implemented, the body is extremely rigid as well as safe. The lightweight construction concept is systematic and forming as the foundation is composed of different parts made from hot-shaped steel and aluminum. Powering the new A6 is the TFSI 1.8-liter engine and it has a curb weight measuring 3,384.1 lb. (1,535 kg).

Further, cabin noise is guaranteed to be low with vibrational comfort guaranteed to be excellent. The exterior’s strong style mirrors the spacious interior offers by the car. Each detail clearly shows the uncompromising quality level that many Audi drivers are surely familiar with. Helping highlight the refined ambience are the elegant colors and the carefully chosen materials.

For the A6 models, the interior offers the flint gray color with S6 having the salsa red. These options help address the concern of even the most discerning of customers. Meanwhile, the seats in the front have the massage and ventilation functions offered as options, both of which have simple controls. Equipped as standard are the automatic deluxe air conditioning and the MMI radio operating system.

For the A6 Avant, the luggage compartment offers space from a low of 565 liters to a high of 1,680 liters (20.0 to 59.3 cubic feet) with a number of practical features. To make sure that loading is made easier, the model comes with the power luggage compartment cover paired with the optional sensor-controlled automatic tailgate.
